Illustration Friday: Imagine

This was inspired by a Hilda Boswell illustration from a book my sister owned as a child - showing children sitting by the fireside imagining castles and magical lands amongst the flames - and also by a picture by Quentin Blake to promote the power of books.

Illustration Friday: Surprise

It's been a few months since my last post for Illustration Friday. I'm having to do without my scanner at the moment, so this was done entirely on the tablet which meant it took ages but I'm quite pleased with the result.
