Illustration Friday: Ageing

'Ageing' sounds like a bit of a depressing topic but I think there's a lot of positive things about growing old: wisdom, grace and a greater appreciation of the moment as you realise time is fleeting. There's beauty too - older people are far more interesting to draw than younger people as their character and experience is written in their faces. Thinking along those lines [wrinkles?] I thought I'd do a pic of a leaf skeleton: showing the ageing process and the beauty that lies underneath.
